Õmblemine

Õmblen Jasperile tegelustekki. Jass aitab loomulikult. Talle meeldib õmblusmasin väga. Nii kui see urisema nurgas hakkab hakkab Jass kiirelt siputama ja õmblusmasnina poole "liikum". Praegusel momendil ma mõtlen, et on hea, et ta veel liikuma eriti ei saa.

I am sewing a blanket for Jasper. He really likes sewing machines sound. As soon as I start it he starts to "move" towards it. And right now I think it is good, that he cant move.

First package from SP to my birthday

My birthday will be on 2 of april but my SP already sent me a present. And I am so pleased. Flowers will be my first flowers in our new garden. and yarn will sute well for my boys sweather. Thanks

Eile algas kevad.../Spring started yesterday

...minu jaoks vähemalt. Peale Jasperi vanaema vanaisaga jalutama saatmist läksime meie mehega mootorrattaga sõitma. JEEEEEEHHHUUUUU. Vinge oli. Ilm oli fantast ja paremat enam soovida ei saagi. Ja eile sain ma ühe suure töö ka valmis. Nüüd on kohe tükk aega äkki hea rahulik olla. Vähemalt saab lapise tegelusteki ära lõpetada ja mõned mänguasjad talle veel juurde. Ja oma uued naabrid näeme ka vist kolmapäeval ära.

...Form me at least. We organized grandmom and granddad to babysit and went to ride motobike. JEEEEHUUU it was so fantastic.
And yesterday I finished one big translatin work also. Now I have lot of spare time. Now I have more time to do some things to my son. And we will see our new nabours soon. We will get our new pice of land where we start to build our own home.

Uhke ema/ proud mom

Uhke ema annab teada, et tema laps keerab nüüd seljalt kõhule. Laps on ka uhke. Vot nii uhke :)

Issi tegi käsitööd

Minu kallis issi tegi meie korterisse viimase mööblijupi valmis. Väga vinge baarikapp on ja väga palju lõnga mahutab kah ;)

Mõtetega .... talves/ Thoughts in ...winter

Kevad tuleb! Vahva! Varsti on meil kaks sünnipäeva tulemas. Mina saan 2 aprillil 27 aastaseks ja Jasper 6 kuuseks. Suur poiss teine juba. Hakkab ilmutama huvi eemal veerevate lõngakerade vastu. Peab hakkama lõngu kolima vist. Ja üldse on lootusrikkalt tulemas soe suvi täis maja ehitaimst ja igat sorti käsitööd. Ja aia planeerimise kursus on ka plaanis.
Aga see käsitöö on veidi ajakohatu. Nimelt peab praegu juba kergelt talve peale mõtlema hakkama. Ega see, et lapse kõrvalt end vahepeal ajakirjadest vabaks võtad ei tähenda, et nendega tegelemise lõpetad. Ikka mõtted käivad ja äkki mõned toredad asjad jõuavad kuhugi teistele näitamiseks ka ülesse. Aga ikkagi on natuke raske praegu villaselt mõelda. Selle asemel tahaks mõelda näiteks igasuguste nukkude peale. Jasperile kangsesti meeldib kangastega maadelda. Tegevust jätkub kohe pikemaks. Ja üks kaltsunukk, keda saaks kätest jalgadest sikutada sobiks talle ju ideaalselt.
OI ja ma TAHAN mootorrattaga sõita. Soe tuul näos ja meri mööda vuhisemas. Pirita on üks lemmik koht kus sõita. Seal on nagu kõik vabadused koos. Mootorrattaga sõitmise vabadus ja mere vabadus ja .... seda asja peab mõtlema.

Spring is comming. And my birthday on 2 of apirll and my sons 6 months birthday is on the same day. Big boy already. He is starting to investigate my yarns and I think I should move them soon. Outside temperature is already over +10 and oru new house plans are soon ready. I will go to gardening classes soon also. Oh buildin a home is a quite challange. But my craft thoughts are already in winter. I do some designs for magazines and next issue will be for late summer and autumn and next for winter. Maybe I will end my design brake and make something for them. But actually I would like to make some dolls. My son loves to play with cloths and so I thought that some ragdoll would be quite good present for him. He can pull dolls legs and arms then and practice resling. OH and I MISS MOTOBIKE. I WANT TO RIDE near seaside and warm wind in my face. spring smell and feeling of freedom. I can't imagin if I can do that this summer.... OEH

Käsitöö lapse kõrvalt / Crafts with child

Minu viimase aja käsitöö tegemised on natuke harvemaks jäänud. Laps tahab ka mängida ja emaga olla ju. Aga vahest me tegutseme koos. Jasperile meeldib väga vaadata metallist heegelnõela viibutusi ning lõnga kera kerida aitab ta ka juba :) No ja masinatest ei saa vist ühtegi poissi eemal hoida. Tegelikult tahaks lapsele mõned vahvad mänguasjad teha, aga vot ei leia sellist aega. Maja ja muud asjad võtavad aja. Isegi nuku ostisin lapsele poest. Sugulase laps sai katsikuks minu tehtud nuku. Aga oma laps peab leppima poe omaga. Suur suur häbi häbi mulle. Aga ma muudan end kindlasti. Uus tegelustekk on juba tegemisel. Vahest saab Jasperi roomamise ajaks valmis. Aga ma kardan, et mida suve poole, seda vähem ma käsitööd teha saan. Maja ehitamine pole miski lillepidu. Aga nüüdseks oleme saanud oma projekti 230 ruudu peale, sellest endiselt 36 ruutu mehele tsiklite jaoks garaazks. Ja minu käsitöönurk on ka täitsa sisse projekteeritud. Juugendlik maja tuleb veidi. Vahva. Ja aianduskursusele lähen ka. Siis saab omale oma maja ümber oma aia planeerida.

This is my child helping me with crafts. He likes to look my crochet hook working and helps to wind my yarns. But lately I don't have so much time to do crafts. I hoped to sew some dolls to him but I couldnt wait and bought one. Shame on me. But baby blanket will be ready soon I hope.
Still I think I wont be much time to do it in the summer, because we are starting to build our home soon. We will have 230 square meeters for house. 36 will be for motorbikes and my husband. And I will have my own corner for crafts. MM I cant wait.

SP 10 Questions

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I prefere natural fibers, but if tehre are something interesting for effect then I use it. But merino, alpaca, angora and silk are my fawourites. But if tehre are something interesting like camel or dog wool I would like to try them too. My recent discoveri is bamboo and sisal wools. And I have heard about yarn made of milk.

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
Husband made me really beautiful box for my needles and hooks. My engagement ring was in it. Other needles are around the flat with UFOs.


3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I have been crocheting and knitting since childhood. So I cud consider myself advanced knitter. I also attend some classes to get degree of professional crafter.


4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Yes I have wish list.

5. What's your favorite scent?
Something tropical

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
Chocolate is my favourite. But I am willing to try anithing new and interesting. Especially if it is traditional or typical to the country my pal is living.


7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?
Oh well... There are so many things I have tried or like to do. If I only have enough time to do them all. I do knitting, crocheting, bobbin lace, different types of felting, pachwork, tatting, beadwork, needlepoint, macrame, weaving, silk painting, sewing, quilting, folk art. I like to combine different styles and materials. I own quite lot of books about Estonian folc clothes and patterns. Also I have tryed to do shirdak capets (Tykmenistan felted carpets). Also I'm interested in old clothes and costume history. I do them for the dolls. And cloth dolls is my late passion. Now I can make them for my child.


8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
I listen almost everything. It depends on mood. I mostly listen classical music and musicals. I like Strauss, Edvard Grieg, Webber. Also I like Gipsy music and Irish music. And I like rock like Queen, Alice Cooper and Manowar.


9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?
I love bright colors red, blue and gereen. But I also like natural nature colors. all kinds of shades. I dont stand gray. I like to combine different colors and materials. In north, where most of the winter is dark I like when colors give energy and light. But if there are some fine silk or merino lace weight yarn, then also white, cream, natural white and black are good.


10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I'm married and we have a 4 months old son.


11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
yes I do. I do them myself.

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
sweathers and maby some baby clothes from now on :)

13. What are you knitting right now?
Some socks and summer hat


14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
Yes

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
prefere circular needles. Short circular needles are really good. Especailly 40-50 cm needels. If needed, others too. And I prefere bamboo.


16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
NO

17. How old is your oldest UFO?
Socks from 1994. It was school work and they are still somewhere

18. What is your favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is midsummers day and Christmas.


19. Is there anything that you collect?
I collect bobbin-lace bobbins and thimbles. And I own library of craft books almost :) I just love books.

20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?

Some patterns form Annies Attic I would like. But there is problem, because they don't send them to Europa. So if my pal is form US or Canada then you could help me.

21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?
I would like to learn weaving properly. I would like to do my own set of national clothes. And dresses are there quite beautiful and colorful.

I do them sometimes. my foot is 37 in Europ

Meie oma kodu

Nii. Meie oleme ka astumas siis nüüd oma maja omanike ringi. Aga ega see asi ei käi eriti lihtsalt. Kõigepealt joonistatakse meile maja projekti. Esimese hooga saime üle 250 ruudu. OK sellest 41 ruutu oli garaaz aga ikkagi. Tõmbasime natuke väiksemaks ikka jäi 245 millest 36 ruutu garaaz. Aga samas tahaks nagu suure pere sinna majasse ära mahutada. 3 last peaks ära mahtuma ja ise ja käsitöö asjad ja mootorrattad, mida mei juba praegu 3 kokku on. Jasper tahab ka kindlasti varsti endale ratast. No ja siis on see mure, et mille paganaga seda kõike kütta. Iseenesest saab meie krundile maakütte panna, aga see on selline kole kallis paigaldada ja ega need kütte arved ka odavad pole. Lisaks räägitakse, et need torud kah amortiseeruvad ikka. Siis oleme vaadanud ka granulkütet ja puu/puugaasi kütet. Aga äkki polegi neid vaja kui keset suurt tuba üks vägev ahi teha ja leso kah sinna peale ;) külmal talvel tõmbavad kõik end ritta sinna ja ongi korras.
Eh...see kütte värk on üks paras peavalu. Ja üldse, mis siis saab kui 30 aasta pärast nafta ja veel mõned varud otsa saavad? Kas siis peaks henamaad juurde muretsema ja garaazist talli tegema? siis saaks loomade sooja oma tuppa ka viia äkki...Ja kas siis hobusel külm ei hakka?
